Really enjoyed the helpful, friendly nature of the breakfast hostess, she made staying at the hotel a very pleasant experience!
It was located in strange location, took us 15 minutes and finally, a phone call to find it.
Our overall experience was a very good one. We would rate The Holiday Inn Express of Butte very highly, just for it's wonderful, friendly staff, especially the continental breakfast hostess.

The staff was great! The linens were clean and in good condition.
I had a non smoking room on a floor with rooms that had smoking, so I could smell smoke most of the time.
This was a very clean and friendly hotel. the furnishings are starting to look a little worn, but the linens were clean and new. The bed was very comfortable.

Clean and quiet.
The room was way too warm; AC is hotel controlled.
The rooms need a small refrigerator. Water and soft drink dispensers were totally empty when we arrived.

Breakfast was good.
Room was too small, bed was lop-sided, window was left open when I arrived and the temperature was in the 20's.

Cookies and hot tea/cocoa in the lobby every night.
Olympics were on this week, & that channel didn't work. AC was unreliable. Had to move.
The staff bickered with each other during a busy check-in. Problems in the room. I had been upgraded for free during previous stays. This stay they were unwilling to upgrade me.
